Hey dude .. I'm Larry Salus and I am a Pacific Beach resident.  I enjoy the Southern California beach area casual life style. In my free time I can generally be found at the beach, riding my bike around Mission Bay or one of the many bike paths in the Pacific Beach area. I enjoy the ocean and the variety of related recreational activities of the beach including Salt Water Fishing, boating and water sports including my local watering hole (the local bar and grill).

Pacific Beach is popular for its prime location and is a great place to visit for a vacation all year round. Its sandy shores fill with sun bathers, swimmers, families and an endless supply of surfers in the summer. There is a board walk with three miles of straight concrete for roller bladers, runners and cyclists. In these pages I have attempted to provide a brief glimpse of the beach area including Mission Beach and a little about the place I call home. So this isn't just the PB Home Page, but is truly a reflection of my home as well. I certainly would appreciate any inputs from you on what I can do to improve these pages and include the information your would like to see about Pacific Beach, California.

This map of San Diego County shows Camp Pendleton (a US Marine base) to the north, Baja California (Mexico) in the south, the mountains and desert to the east and of course the Pacific Ocean (and Pacific Beach) to the west. San Diego County offers some incredible recreational diversity , for example, it is possible in the winter to go surfing in the morning at the beach, snow skiing in the mountains by noon and relax in the warmth of a desert pool by the afternoon....
and all in the same day!!
